President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko thinks that all political forces willing to take part in the elections should unite for the sake of Ukraine.
“We must declare that we are together, that Ukraine unites us and that the issue of unity is the first priority. I am sincerely eager to do so and will do everything for that,” Petro Poroshenko said in the interview to Ukrainian TV channels.
The Head of State emphasized that the parties must realize that mission. “Any split, any mutually destructive rhetoric brings damage not to the political force or leader, but to Ukraine,” he said.
The President noted that he would do everything to ensure fair elections to the Verkhovna Rada, just like the presidential ones.
The Head of State informed that he had made a decision on early parliamentary elections when the Parliament had voted for the recognition of the so-called LPR and DPR as terrorist organizations because there had been barely enough votes for that.
