President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has met with Prime Minister of Poland Ewa Kopacz in Warsaw.
The Head of State has expressed gratitude to Ewa Kopacz for the constant powerful support of Poland in the protection of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, countering Russian aggression and lobbying Ukrainian interests in the framework of the EU.
The Ukrainian President and the Prime Minister of Poland have paid special attention to the extension of trade-economic ties between the two countries. Petro Poroshenko has assured that the Ukrainian authorities would facilitate the implementation of new investment projects in Ukraine and expect active participation of Polish business.
Petro Poroshenko and Ewa Kopacz have discussed the opportunity of holding joint sessions of the Ukrainian and Polish Parliaments to improve economic cooperation.
The Prime Minister of Poland has also expressed support to the increase of macro-financial support from the IMF to Ukraine.
In the course of the conversation, the parties have agreed that the holding of regular session of the Intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation and the visit of the Polish Prime Minister to Ukraine at the beginning of the following year would facilitate the improvement of mutually beneficial trade.
Upon completion of the meeting with Ewa Kopacz, the President has met with business representatives of Poland. The Head of State has invited them to work in Ukraine.
