President Petro Poroshenko has held a phone conversation with Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, President of France Francois Hollande and President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
The parties have emphasized the necessity of fulfilling all items of the Minsk agreements, namely the ceasefire, pullback to the delimitation line laid down in the Memorandum of September 19, withdrawal of troops and heavy armament, as well as immediate liberation of all hostages. The Ukrainian President has also underlined the necessity of liberating Nadiya Savchenko.
The Heads of State have agreed to hold the next meetings of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on Wednesday and Friday.
Petro Poroshenko, Angela Merkel, Francois Hollande and Vladimir Putin have also agreed to continue phone consultations in a few days.
