"Let the whole world hear the powerful voice of Ukraine - Ukraine will fight and Ukraine will certainly win," the President addressed the Ukrainian diaspora at the central square of Munich.
"The entire world supports the people of Ukraine in their struggle against the aggressor for the territorial integrity and independence," the Head of State has emphasized.
Petro Poroshenko has emphasized that Ukrainians are a peaceful nation. "We do not want this war. We just want foreign troops to leave our territory. We want the border to be closed for invaders and mercenaries. We want all hostages to be liberated, including Nadiya Savchenko, who has been on a hunger strike for 57 days already demanding freedom for herself and Ukraine," Petro Poroshenko noted.
After these words, everyone at the square chanted: "Freedom to Savchenko!".
Recalling the anniversary of Maidan, the Head of State emphasized: "We will do everything not to betray the Heavenly Hundred Heroes".
Representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora and German citizens came to Karlsplatz Square in Munich to demonstrate their support to Ukraine. Many of them came with children. Afterwards, everyone sang the Anthem of Ukraine together with the President.
