President Petro Poroshenko has held a meeting with President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili who came to Ukraine to participate in the March of Dignity on the occasion of the anniversary of Maidan.

The Head of State has noted that the March of Dignity had demonstrated the unity of the Ukrainian people and the leaders of the European countries in the desire to overcome terrorism. "The March of Dignity, just like in Paris, demonstrated that we are not afraid," Petro Poroshenko noted. According to the President, today's terrorist attack in Kharkiv "is an attempt to spread panic and fear". "They are trying to make us afraid," he said.

Petro Poroshenko has thanked Giorgi Margvelashvili for Georgia's support of Ukraine. We are glad to see you today in Kyiv. There were a lot of Georgian flags in Kyiv during these three days of commemoration of the Revolution of Dignity," the President noted.

The President of Georgia has expressed his admiration for the March of Dignity. "We are glad to see how united Ukraine is. And not only Ukraine, but also all its friends are united in support of the values you are defending. Every Georgian is with Ukraine today," he said.

The Georgian President has expressed condolences over the terrorist attack in Kharkiv.

The parties have also discussed cooperation of the countries within the GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development, the Black Sea Partnership and the Eastern Partnership.
