President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has held a phone conversation with President of France Francois Hollande.
The parties have discussed the situation in Donbas. The President has drawn attention to the necessity of complete ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weaponry under the OSCE's monitoring and verification.
Petro Poroshenko has emphasized the importance of liberation of all hostages, particularly Nadiya Savchenko. He has stated the absence of progress in the given issue.
The interlocutors have agreed with the necessity to enhance the OSCE mission and intensify the process of involving a peacekeeping mission in the settlement of the situation in Donbas.
Petro Poroshenko and Francois Hollande have also discussed the agenda of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga and the necessity of abolishing visa regime for Ukrainians.
