Despite the external military aggression Ukraine remains committed to implementing democratic reforms - Pavlo Klimkin
On 18 March 2015 in Kyiv Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin together with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland presented the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine 2015-2017.
The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in his opening statement expressed gratitude to the Council of Europe for its consistent support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine which was declared in decisions of the Committee of Ministers, the Parliamentary Assembly and the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.
Pavlo Klimkin stated that despite the continuing external military aggression against our country Ukraine remains committed to implementing a comprehensive reform agenda in anti-corruption, taxation, judicial and defense areas. Minister emphasized that such resolute willingness is relevant to the Government’s commitments before the citizens of Ukraine and international partners.
The representatives of the governmental bodies, parliament, judiciary, civil society of Ukraine, diplomatic corps and journalists took part in the presentation.
