President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has held a phone conversation with Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel.

The parties have condemned constant violation of the ceasefire regime by militants.

The interlocutors have emphasized the need for the full compliance with the Minsk agreements by all the parties. They have discussed the work of the Trilateral Contact Group and the activity of the OSCE SMM.

Petro Poroshenko and Angela Merkel have also negotiated the issues in the context of Ukraine-EU relations and the preparation to the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga.
