President Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

The UN Secretary-General thanked the President for hospitality in the course of his visit to Kyiv and for an opportunity to commemorate the deceased in the World War II together with the people of Ukraine.

Ban Ki-moon informed the Ukrainian President on the results of the visit to Moscow, where he had discussed the establishment of the UN Office in support of the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements, just as in Kyiv. The President emphasized the need for achieving their full implementation.

Petro Poroshenko and Ban Ki-moon have also discussed the opportunity of deploying UN peacekeeping mission in Donbas.

On the occasion of birthday of Nadiya Savchenko, Petro Poroshenko and Ban Ki-moon agreed to further make every effort for her liberation.
