During an investment conference due to be held on July 13 in the U.S., there will be presented a plan for the privatization of Ukrainian state-owned companies, tax reforms and changes in the energy sector of the country. Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced at a session of the Government of Ukraine on Friday, June 12.
The Prime Minister informed that the investment conference is to gather around 150 leaders of major U.S. companies. From the Ukrainian side the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the country was commissioned to ensure proper organization of the conference.
The conference will be attended by Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine who is to familiarize with the plan of privatization of a number of Ukrainian state-owned enterprises.
Moreover, the participants of the event will have an opportunity to get to know a plan of tax changes in the energy sector of the country. Chairman of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine will present a plan to upgrade the tax system as a whole.
According to Arseniy Yatsenyuk, leaders of a number of Ukrainian state-owned companies and private sector representatives to participate in the investment conference.
