President had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Israel

President Petro Poroshenko had a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Petro Poroshenko thanked Israeli doctors for their assistance to Captain of Police Department Nadia Andrukhiv who was injured in explosions near the police precincts in Lviv. She is treated in Israel upon the initiative of the President and thanks to his support.

The Israeli Prime Minister promised to do everything to help the officer injured as a result of the terrorist attack in Lviv.

The President of Ukraine also raised the issue of ensuring crossing the Israeli border for Ukrainian tourists. The Israeli Prime Minister has promised to take all measures to make it possible for Ukrainians to travel freely across his country.

Petro Poroshenko and Benjamin Netanyahu also discussed the Free Trade Zone Agreement between Ukraine and Israel and agreed to speed up the preparation process.

The President and the Prime Minister also said that they would like to arrange the meeting of the Ukrainian-Israeli Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation as soon as possible. Petro Poroshenko and Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to maintain close political cooperation.
