On the eve of the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine and the Independence Day, the Presidential Administration was adorned with Ukrainian national flags. “The blue-yellow flag is not just a symbol. It is a talisman of the Ukrainian nation, which unites Ukrainians in their struggle for Independence,” the President noted and called on all citizens to support the initiative #OurColors and adorn their houses with the national flag.

“On the eve of the Independence Day, let us fly our flag over every building all over the country! Let the blue-yellow flag be hoisted over the entire Ukraine!” the Head of State urged the nation.

The President emphasized the victorious power of the Ukrainian National Flag. “We have repeatedly gained victories under our flag and we will certainly defend our independence, freedom and dignity!” Petro Poroshenko noted.

In the morning, huge National Flag was hoisted at the central building of the Presidential Administration.
