In the course of the official visit to the Netherlands, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had an audience with His Majesty King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander.
The President thanked the Netherlands for political support, solidarity and practical aid to Ukraine in the fight against external aggression and development of a European state.
Petro Poroshenko informed on the progress of Ukraine in the context of reforms and expressed willingness to further deepen partnership with the Netherlands.
The Head of State noted the importance of the visa-free regime with the EU for Ukraine.
The President expressed condolences to friends and relatives of the victims of MH-17 tragedy and assured of Ukraine's willingness to actively cooperate on that issue in order to bring the perpetrators to justice. "Ukraine will be a reliable advocate of the victims of MH-17 and use its membership in the UN Security Council to keep the given issue on the agenda of the UN," Petro Poroshenko emphasized.
The President invited His Majesty the King of the Netherlands to visit Ukraine at his convenience.
