President to visit Turkey

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to visit Turkey in early 2016. It was stated by him following the negotiations with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. "We expect significant breakthrough from this visit. We will demonstrate a series of elaborations in economic, political and security cooperation," he said.

According to Petro Poroshenko, the President of Turkey provided details of violation of Turkish airspace by Russian Su-24.

In his turn, the Ukrainian President informed on the situation in Donbas.

The parties noted that they would never recognize the annexation of Crimea by Russia. The two Heads of State expressed concern over the lasting violations of fundamental rights and freedoms of Ukrainians, Crimean Tatars and other residents of Crimea by the occupation authorities.

The interlocutors also agreed on the intensification of trade-economic cooperation between Ukraine and Turkey. Inter alia, they agreed to conduct the tenth session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Turkish Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
