President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is having a meeting with President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades who is on an official visit to Ukraine.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President thanked his Cypriot colleague for the personal role in the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU by Cyprus and support for Ukraine in the course of the vote for the non-permanent members of the UN Security Council.

"I am convinced that today we will have fruitful negotiations that will promote intensification of relations between Ukraine and Cyprus," the Ukrainian President said.

In his turn, the President of Cyprus emphasized that the support of Cyprus for the European integration of Ukraine remained unchanged. Nicos Anastasiades also informed that "Cyprus will make a positive decision on the provision of the visa-free regime for Ukraine".

At 12:00, the parties will sign Ukrainian-Cypriot documents. Then, the two Presidents will make press statements.
