Due to the tragic death of civilians in Mariupol on January 24, 2015 caused by the terrorists' mass shelling of residential areas, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has proclaimed January 25 the Day of Mourning. Respective Decree № 30/2015 was signed by the President this night.
The memory of the fallen citizens will be honored with a moment of silence at 12:00.
The National Flag will be flown at half mast by all governmental institutions, state enterprises and organizations all over Ukraine.
The document also stipulates the need to cancel all entertainment, concert and sporting events, as well as to make respective amendments to the television and radio programs.
