President Petro Poroshenko has expressed condolences to Prime Minister of Denmark Helle Thorning-Schmidt over the terrorist attacks that took place in Copenhagen on Sunday, February 15.

"It is awful when innocent people become victims of politically motivated attempts on peace and quiet. More and more often we become witnesses of terrorist attacks that can be stopped only by coordinated actions of the global community," the Head of State noted.

"We shouldn't waste time. Everyone who shares democratic values and freedoms should unite," Petro Poroshenko said adding that "Ukraine will go side by side with Denmark in the struggle against terrorism, which affects the Ukrainian people as well".
