The Prime Minister highly assessed the consecutive support and efforts of Poland to ensure a single and strong position of the European Union to counter the aggressive policy of Russia.

Apart from that, Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Ewa Kopacz continued a dialogue about joint Ukrainian-Polish projects, those agreed during the visit of the Head of the Polish Government to Kyiv. It concerns, namely, the financial and technical support of reforms in Ukraine, cooperation in agro-industrial and energy sectors. In this context, at today's meeting the parties settled to hold mutual visits by the ministers of economy and energy blocks to adjust the specific objectives of the cooperation.

In an interview following the meeting Arseniy Yatsenyuk noted that Poland is "a powerful advocate of Ukraine", "Poland is steadfast in supporting our struggle for peace, stability and against the Russian aggression".

Answering a question about sanctions against Russia, the Prime Minister of Ukraine stressed, "It would be the largest success for President Putin, if the EU refused to prolong or step up sanctions against Russia.
