President Petro Poroshenko has held a phone conversation with the IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde.

Christine Lagarde has noted personal role of Petro Poroshenko and his team in the reformation of the country and assured of full support to Ukraine on the track of reforms.

"It is the only chance for us to build a competitive and strong Ukraine," the Head of State said.

Petro Poroshenko has informed on the progress of reforms in Ukraine and emphasized that they were aimed at ensuring transparency and economic stabilization of Ukraine.

The IMF Managing Director has reaffirmed full support to the restructuring of Ukraine's debt liabilities.
