In the course of the meeting with President of the French Senate Gérard Larcher, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has urged to ratify the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in the nearest time.

The parties have discussed the participation of Ukrainian parliamentarians at the meeting of May 7, which will be related to the debates on Ukraine and the ratification of the Association Agreement.

"Today, is a very important day in the history of Ukrainian-French relations," the President of Ukraine noted, evaluating the results of his official visit to France.

Speaking of reforms in Ukraine, the Head of State emphasized: "We are willing to shorten the distance between man and power".
