President Petro Poroshenko laid flowers in front of the concert hall Bataclan in Paris paying tribute to the victims of terrorist attacks that took place on November 13.
On behalf of the Ukrainian nation, the President expressed sincere condolences to the people of France and families of the victims. "We are together with the people of France that suffered from dreadful terrorist attacks. We stand side-by-side with the whole world in the fight against terror," Petro Poroshenko emphasized.
The Head of State once again noted his impression from the reaction of Frenchmen right after the tragedy when they were singing national anthem and chanting: "We are not afraid". Petro Poroshenko reminded that a lot of Ukrainians came to the Embassy of France in Ukraine at night to express solidarity with the people of France.
The President added that Ukraine was also an object of terrorism, aggression and annexation of Crimea by Russia. The people of Ukraine pay huge price for this struggle with a lot of people fallen for independence of the country. "We understand the meaning of terror. Only united can we win this struggle against terrorism. United we stand," the President said.
