Following the negotiations with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden, President Petro Poroshenko emphasized readiness of Ukraine to provide maximum support for coalition forces in Syria.
“Ukraine will stand side-by-side with anti-terrorist coalition. We know what terrorist threats mean. We know how to fight terrorism inside Ukraine. Our special forces prevented over 200 terrorist attacks in Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Lviv and many other cities,” the President said.
“The world cannot be intimidated by terrorist threat. We clearly declared that states supporting terrorism cannot take part in the struggle against terrorism. There cannot be bad terrorists and acceptable terrorists. They are all terrorists. One cannot conceal violations of international law and receive international indulgence under the slogan of struggle against terrorism. It is our clear position,” the President noted.
