President Petro Poroshenko emphasizes that Ukrainian democratic forces should unite and dedicate the next 4 years to the implementation of reforms.

Following the negotiations with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko informed that the parties had discussed the necessity of consolidation of all democratic forces of Ukraine. “Ukraine has faced 3 election campaigns in the last 1.5 years. We’ve done everything to ensure full reload of the government,” the Head of State noted. According to him, all three elections met the highest international standards.

“The time of elections has passed. Now, there will be 4 years without elections. In the course of these 4 years, we should implement all reforms that will ensure the conformity of Ukraine with criteria necessary for the accession to the EU and various defensive unions,” Petro Poroshenko said.  

“Reforms are ahead and it requires unification of all efforts. Ukrainian citizens are waiting for it. Our international political partners are waiting for it. I am sure that we will meet their expectations,” the President noted.
