The Second round of V Ukrainian Grain Congress will take place in Kiev (Faіrmont Grant Hotel) on November 25-26, 2014. (Note: the First round of the V Ukrainian Grain Congress began its work in Paris, France on September 8, 2014).
The organizers of the Congress are: the public organization “Ukrainian Grain Association” and the Information-analytical agency “APK-Inform”.
The Congress will focus on the most pressing issues of development of the world and Ukrainian grain markets; discuss the conditions necessary for a future effective grain trade in the Black Sea region; determine the benchmarks of the grain sector of Ukraine in the medium- and long-term prospect.
It's expected that nearly 300 delegates from many countries will attend the V Ukrainian Grain Congress, including representatives of government agencies and international organizations, grain producers, processors, exporters and importers, and the world leading experts of the grain market, analysts and scientists.
The V Ukrainian Grain Congress is held under support of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation (UAC), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), the USAID AgroInvest Project, the European Business Association (EBA), the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC).
The V Ukrainian Grain Congress will be attended by all major Ukrainian grain producers which are interested in establishing strong ties with foreign partners, as well as in conducting negotiations on investments in Ukrainian agriculture.
